Senior Solutions Architect – Octopus Deploy
Alex Yates helps folks deliver measurably improved business outcomes through Octopus Deploy. He's been working with the product since v1. In 2013 he was a pre-sales engineer for an Octopus competitor, but their product didn't stack up. By 2014 the business decided to exit the deployment orchestration market, and Alex helped the existing customers switch to Octopus. Now he's hooked! Most of Alex's experience is in solving challenging database problems, primarily for SQL Server.
Derek Campbell
Principal DevOps Advocate –
Derek Campbell is a Principal DevOps Advocate at Octopus Deploy in the Community team. Derek is passionate about helping and building Communities and has previously worked in Customer Solutions, where he helped some of the largest customers of Octopus be successful. During his time in DevOps and automation consultancy, Derek has automated CI/CD pipelines and helped lead and implement CI/CD at numerous companies worldwide. Derek is passionate about helping organizations and people improve using technology to help their personal and business objectives.
