How did you get into your current job/field?

Way back in high school, I was getting really into computers and I took a CCNA prep course in school.

Taking the time to do that kinda locked me into support forever. Moving into leadership was more about my desire to find a better way of doing things and helping underserved teams.

Support in the US is HARD. Team members being mistreated and being given impossible expectations without anything that will help them to truly achieve them. I wanted to truly help people living and working in these conditions.

What's a fun fact about you that people may not know?

I have received the highest award the FFA offers, The American Degree.

What is your favorite project you've worked on at Octopus Deploy so far?

I haven't been here long but I'm really enjoying meeting the team and starting to find little gaps we can cover to help make our workflows better.

Do you have any hobbies outside of work?

Gosh so many.

I am a huge TTRPG player and game runner. I enjoy computer games and MTG. I play 40k here and there and am OBESSED with music. Reading is also something I very much enjoy.

What excites you most about working at Octopus Deploy?

The way that people spend a lot of time and care into making sure that the team is doing really well.

The way we treat one another is so important and I LOVE that it is a core part of our mission.

If you could eat one meal for the rest of forever - what would it be?

My grandmother's arroz con Pollo.
