How did you get into your current job/field?
I started in Customer Service/Success in a startup over 8 years ago and stumbled into recruiting (as most do, by complete accident) after referring friends. It was recognized very quickly that I had the skillset to be in Talent and my career quickly blossomed from there. I love connecting with people, building lifelong relationships, and
What's a fun fact about you that people may not know?
My dog was once dog-swapped for an entire weekend while I was out of town, somehow unbeknownst to anyone, until I returned home. I came home off a late night flight on a Sunday and a stranger dog was in my house trying to protect my own home. Had to do a dog swap at 1 am. This is my dog's character development arc.
What is your favorite project you've worked on at Octopus Deploy so far?
Our Career Page! I'm proud to show up every day, showing you all why it's so awesome to be an Octonaut! We worked really hard to create a space where people's questions were answered, where they could get a true sense of what it's like to work here, and that would stand out in a crowd of Careers pages. We've introduced awesome features like this Meet the Octonaut section, a brand new Life at Octopus podcast, and so much more!
Do you have any hobbies outside of work?
Music, music, MUSIC! Outside of work, you'll often see me at a concert/show. I've been to upwards of 300-400 shows/concerts/festivals over the last 15ish years all around the world. 90% of my PTO is traveling to festivals and concerts.
What excites you most about working at Octopus Deploy?
Working in an autonomous environment where I can tell I'm making an impact. The handbook is what initially sold me on Octopus and my love for working here has only grown since then. We are treated like adults, you have the opportunity to witness your hard work in action, and I get to do all of that while working with some really incredibly smart and talented people who are all so naturally curious and driven together.
If you could eat one meal for the rest of forever - what would it be?
Braised short ribs & mashed potatoes- I love a good, hearty comfort meal, and no matter what, potatoes will be part of my last meal. I finally had to give up dairy, and I am fully substituting this devastating development with all kinds of (dairy-free) potatoes.

I joined Octopus with the Codefresh acquisition. Fun fact - I was a sumo wrestler as a member of my university team.
