How did you get into your current job/field?

I ended up in technology sales because a manager saw something in me that she said 'could not be taught'. She saw an openness and willingness to learn. She knew she could teach me the technology landscape and took a chance on me. I will be forever grateful to her because she has been instrumental in my career.

What's a fun fact about you that people may not know?

My family and I are slowly building out a permaculture farm featuring paw-paw fruit. It's a fruit indigenous to North America and has a tropical taste with a custard-like texture. It does not typically withstand the normal grocery supply chain life needed, so it's difficult to find in the store.

What is your favorite project you've worked on at Octopus Deploy so far?

Helping to build out the Commercial sales team motion, go CommSquad!

Do you have any hobbies outside of work?

I'm quite crafty and love making handmade gifts for friends and family. I make a variety of things from sublimated mugs, HTV shirts, pallet art, you name it!

What excites you most about working at Octopus Deploy?

Remote work has been tremendously helpful for me to have a work-life balance as a mom of two toddlers. But it's the culture that makes Octopus Deploy what it is...a culture that truly does not make it feel like you are working remotely.

If you could eat one meal for the rest of forever - what would it be?

I can't answer this one, I get food fixations for a few weeks and then move on to the next.
