Meet the Octonaut

I love all things systems, so anywhere I can learn how systems work and how I can use them to make everyone’s jobs a little bit easier makes me happy.

One of my first jobs out of college was an Office Manager. I enjoyed helping people in house that it naturally transitioned into a HR role.

The way we treat one another is so important and I LOVE that it is a core part of our mission.

I started my career as a Software developer and now I am responsible for the Revenue organization.

My favorite projects at Octopus Deploy have definitely been those focused on enhancing the employee experience.

I joined Octopus with the Codefresh acquisition. Fun fact - I was a sumo wrestler as a member of my university team.

I'm quite crafty and love making handmade gifts for friends and family. I make a variety of things from sublimated mugs to HTV shirts and pallet art.

I stumbled upon a job ad and liked what I saw about Octopus. After doing a little more research I decided to apply and the rest is history.

I love gardening, and I'm growing a mix of herbs, flowers, and chillies including ghost peppers. I can also dunk a basketball.

I’m incredibly excited about the people I work with. Every single Octonaut genuinely wants to do the right thing.

I love teeing off anytime I want with my home golf simulator – no weather, no waiting, just pure golfing bliss!

I really enjoyed being able to build out the MDM system from the ground up here at Octopus.

I love working across teams to measure what matters - surfacing the areas we are succeeding and the opportunities to improve.

I used Octopus and loved it so much that I wrote a book about it. I then met Paul in London, and eventually asked if I could help at Octopus.

I play and referee ice hockey in Australia. I’m part of the crew that refs our top hockey league, the AIHL.

I always wanted to be in HR, from my very early days as a Corporate Trainee in Hotel Management. It was a natural fit that I never questioned!

We live on a 10-acre homestead-style property (that used to be part of a golf course) outside Brisbane, where we're slowly building a food forest.

My favorite hobbies? Music, music, MUSIC! Outside of work, you'll often see me at a concert or show.

I found my way to Octopus Deploy, where I joined a fantastic team that has allowed me to grow and develop further.

I enjoy playing table tennis, watching F1 races, and putting together puzzles.
